I am using my FB timeline and Pinay.com to post and network regarding the relief efforts for Philippines with the devastation of Typhoon #YolandPH and let’s not forget the earthquakes.
And lately, I have become upset about the lack of organization from the local authorities regarding the cleanup and widespread distribution of relief goods and help.
So here is what I have to post about this:
We want leaders to stop confusing leadership with corruption, celebrity and privilege and to learn a few things from ordinary people—crisis volunteers! Some of the best humans:There are people out there who rush into these disaster areas to help out. These seemingly ordinary people are crisis-trained—they make a decision that they will, when called upon at anytime, help people in devastating situations. This is indeed nobility. We want change and transformation in our leadership. We want more people with a smidgen of this goodness in leadership and everywhere around the world.
