Hi Virgil, how nice to see this!! Thank you for sharing.
This makes me think of synchronicity and interconnectedness. A couple nights ago @mindbodydona and I were talking about practices of “halad” and “átang”.
My mom, our ancestors and we all who still remember to do it make it a practice to connect with Nature and nature spirits as kapwa, as fellow beings in Creation.
When we don’t perceive the Unseen as nonexistent, as “other” or as separate from us, then we don’t fear the Unseen. When we recognize and honor the forces of Nature, the Unseen world and ourselves as equal beings we can participate in bringing about and maintaining balance within Creation.
Why Christians may misconstrue the practice as demonic or the scientific may consider it superstitious is merely in the differences of worldview.
Our worldview is that we are connected to AllThatIs, to all of Creation, to the Seen and Unseen, to the stars, the cosmos, to all dimensions, to All Time and No Time, to the Elements, to the Earth and all her creatures… It’s a worldview that creates a space of living with love and respect for all of Life…
The other worldviews, literally Worldviews of Othering, are the ones that cause thoughts and actions of “us against them,” “me first,” “us first,” “winners and losers.”
The other worldviews create separation, division, fear, notions of inferiority and superiority, greed, hate, exploitation, oppression and more.
The worldview of pakikipagkapwa, is one of sacred interconnection, of Co-Creation, synchronicity, magic, miracles, dynamic balance…
Our ancestors and ancestral traditions ground us into Life.
As the descendants of beings of ancient times and as the ancestors of beings of the future, our roles to play involve unfolding healing, wholeness, potential and possibilities.
How exciting to witness your teachings and ancestors reach the world, Virgil and…
Congratulations to the joyous grand opening of the school of Kailukuan!!!!❤️❤️❤️🙌🙌🔥🔥🔥 I’m witnessing dreams come true!! I wish I could be there and attend. 😂
