The whole point of life is Love, and that you learn, change, & grow…
to expand into a stunning, bright light.
Learn
Be open and receptive to learning new things from others, from your own experiences, from trial and error.
It’s okay to make mistakes. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes or to come upon failure. You can be braver about taking risks when you begin to see your mistakes and failures as openings to learning something about yourself, about Life.
There are no mistakes, only lessons.
—Cherie Carter-Scott, Life is a Game, These are the Rules
Change
What I like most about change is that it’s a synonym for “hope.” If you are taking a risk, what you are really saying is, “I believe in tomorrow and I will be part of it.”
—Linda Ellerbee
Be ready for change. We each need to accept where we are in any given moment. And when a life lesson takes place we must make a choice whether or not we are willing to let a change take place within ourselves and within our life.
Only you know when the time for change has come. And when you know it’s time then flow into the process of positive change.
“If what you’re doing isn’t working… do anything else.” —unknown
Grow
And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” ― Anaïs Nin
And so I invite you to consider how you have grown in the past and how you can continue to grow and to find new ways to shine.
Because life is not just about surviving, it’s also about thriving.
You have to make a choice to not only survive as a human being but also to thrive as a human being. In order to do that you must advance your soul’s role in your life—gain wisdom, patience, become more kind and compassionate— and allow the blossoming of your life like the enlightened saints of legend… letting each petal of your brilliant soul open up, one by one, like the thousand-petal lotus of Buddha lore.
Growing should mean you’re becoming a new person, leveling up and beyond where you started from… and that’s the whole point of this so-called game of life, don’t you think?
